The Holiday Project is delighted to announce that we have received a further award of £15,000  from the Ellen & Ian Graham Foundation Inc to support holidays for our upcoming 2026 season.

The Ellen & Ian Graham Foundation Inc is a U.S.-based charitable foundation that supports various charities in the US and have been increasing their support to charities in Scotland. Elaine Bryson, Project Manager of The Holiday Project, says: “We’re overjoyed that the Ellen & Ian Graham Foundation reached out to us last year, offering very much needed support at a crucial time when another long-term funding stream ended. Since the initial communication we have built on the relationship and are so grateful to have received further support.” “Thanks to their generosity and kindness we will be able to continue to support local people and families access vital respite holidays, particularly to those suffering from illness, disability or those facing difficult life circumstances and challenges, with the aim of making a real difference to overall health and wellbeing. Our charity offers breaks from April to October in one of our three static caravans (one adapted for people with disabilities) based at the seaside location of Sandylands, Saltcoats.”

The Holiday Project service will start taking holiday bookings in mid-January 2026, however, feel free to contact us to get further information on the support available.

On top of the financial support the Foundation also provided The Holiday Project the opportunity to work with Stream for Me Media so that we could showcase and bring to life our charity and the people we support to the Trustees of the Ellen & Ian Graham Foundation. Huge THANK YOU to everyone involved in the short video. 🥰
